I am a student from UW Bothell, for my interactive media class we are to choose a gaming community/culture to research and present, I decided to choose the AFK Tavern, I have never been there before and I was just hoping to get some background info before I make my trip this week.  

Any help answering any of these of any feedback about the tavern would be very helpful!

-When did you first come to the AFK Tavern? Why? What does the tavern mean to the community? To you?

-How has the tavern changed? (community wise)

-How do you think the gaming community as a whole has changed? Has it grown?

-Why do you think people enjoy coming to the AFK tavern? What kind of games do people mostly play there? Computer games? Xbox? Boardgames?

-What do you think are the stereotypes people often associated with gamers or with a place like the AFK tavern?

-Anything else you would like to add about the Tavern or the gaming community?
