Hey all, just wanted to update this a bit. I have noticed a massive upswing in 3DS usage in my area and most places I've been travelling to. Malls are a great hotspot for them, especially South Hill Mall and Southcenter mall, though surprisingly not Tacoma Mall. I've taken the Sounder a couple times and hit a couple passes on there, and took a trip to WSU and Portland and got quite a few just by walking around a bit.
I believe the fact that the 3DS is FINALLY getting a bunch of titles released its getting far more popular. I know I'm glad to finally have something other than Nintendogs and Ocarina of Time to play...
Also, Ive found that there are StreetPass Meetups for Tacoma and Seattle! Right now each group only has about 6-8 people but its fun to get together once a month or so and chill with some people like that. I'll talk to them next time we meet up and see if we can't get some sort of event or meetup set for AFK sometime...
Loving the Netflix app, I don't have a smartphone so its nice to have it anywhere I go.
I saw that someone posted their friend code, and I'm surprised I didn't think to post mine in my first post! Heres mine if any are interested: 1461-6410-2914 I'd love to get some more WA local contacts!

Old post:
Just wondering how many people out there own a 3DS now that the price has dropped 80$. I just got my own about a week and a half ago and I'm loving it. I don't even own any games for it yet and I'm still enjoying the heck out of it, haha. For those of you that don't know, the 3DS has this thing called StreetPass. When you have the 3DS in sleep mode (aka, the screen closed, but power still on) it will sit there and constantly broadcast and receive a signal. Any time you pass another 3DS in sleep mode they interact with eachother and depending on the games you have will send special data to you. One of the most basic of this is the Mii Plaza. You'll get puzzle pieces and an avatar version of the sent Mii to battle ghosts in this little adventure game. You can also StreetPass a music playlist, or if you have Street Fighter 4 you'll actually do a mini-off screen battle with the person you pass and it'll show you the result based on your W/L ratio when you check it. And now we come to my issue! I live in Puyallup, the least gamer friendly town in ever. I have found it extraordinarily difficult to find places where people just chill with DS/DSi/3DS and play them in the open. Both for the sake of getting some StreetPasses and the urge to want to play my DS socially, does anyone know of some good parks or malls or anything like that where there are frequently a group of people playing? Also, hows AFK for handheld population? My friend and I want to come out and chill one day, but we'll most likely just sit and people watch (the curse of awkward people). If there were a decent amount of people playing around us I'd personally feel way more comfortable.
